Tyres are removed along with old wheel weights and valves etc, the wheels are then checked for any major defects such as bends or cracks
The wheels are placed in a chemical stripper to remove the existing coating leaving a bare metal finish
The wheels then go through a blasting process to remove any remaining paint and to key the surface prior to painting
Wheels are hand prepared to remove damage prior to refurbishment
Wheels are further prepared in oven and heated to 200°C to remove moisture, gases and air
A powder coat primer is applied, this being either grey or black subject to the final finish
A wet colour coat is applied to the primed wheel
Diamond turned wheels are then cut on our specialist lathe
A final powder coat lacquer ensure a high quality, durables and shiny finish
Finally, the wheels are checked before having the tyres refitted
and balanced. The completed wheels are then ready to be refitted to the vehicle
